For job seekers
You look. TAI checks.
Three things TAI does for your search.
1 / 3TAI provides your trust score
See what someone checking you can confirm, fix the gaps, and share your score with an application.
2 / 3TAI verifies the jobs
Each role is checked against the employer’s own careers page before you spend an hour on it.
3 / 3TAI verifies companies and requests
Companies, recruiters and connection requests are checked against what they say about themselves.
Ghost jobs
How TAI helps you screen ghost jobs
Before you spend an hour on an application, TAI checks the listing against the employer’s own site and the open web.
- Not on the employer’s own careers page
- Listed 59 days ago · may be stale
- The same role reposted under 3 company names
- The employer’s site was registered weeks ago

Job seekers tired of ghost jobs
Greenhouse data reported by The Wall Street Journal in January 2025: 18 to 22% of jobs posted through its hiring platform were roles the employer was not trying to fill. Its co-founder called the job market “more soul-crushing than ever”.
People contacted by recruiters they do not know
People reported losing $501M to job scams in 2024, up from $90M in 2020 (FTC).

Questions
Questions people ask about TAI
What does TAI check?
Jobs, companies and profiles on LinkedIn, including connection requests and who writes to you. Each is checked against the open web, gets an evidence-based trust score, and you get your own trust score too.
How does TAI spot a ghost job?
It looks for the vacancy on the employer’s own careers page or hiring system, checks independent job boards, whether the listing has closed, how long it has been listed and whether the same role is reposted under other names, then scores what it found.
How is a trust score worked out?
Scores run from 0 to 100 in four bands: Suspicious (0–24), Unverified (25–64), Corroborated (65–84) and Verified (85–100). A score comes only from pages TAI actually read, and each result links those pages. No evidence, no high score.
How do I improve my Profile Score?
Your Profile Score names the first thing to fix: usually a public page that confirms your role, your company’s team page, or a publication or credential. Add it, and the next check confirms it.
Does TAI post or message on LinkedIn?
No. TAI is read-only. It never posts, connects, messages, likes or changes anything on LinkedIn, and never sees your LinkedIn password.
Does TAI read my email?
Only if you connect Gmail on the Plus plan. It then reads the sender, subject, date and authentication results of your ten newest unread messages to check each sender, never the content of a message or its attachments, and Gmail data is never used to train AI models.
What does TAI cost?
Free covers one full check with your trust score, with no card needed. Starter is $19.99 a month and checks the 10 jobs that match you every day. Plus is $29.99 a month and also verifies connections and messages, twice a day.
Which browsers does TAI work in?
Google Chrome on desktop, through the TAI extension, with a web dashboard at taicheck.com.
